Chip Repairs

Chips caused by dropped objects or impact can leave exposed wood and uneven edges. We prepare the damaged area, rebuild it with a suitable repair material and shape it to match the floor. Colour and grain are then added where needed before the repair is finished.

Scratch Repairs

The right treatment for a scratch depends on whether it affects only the surface finish or reaches into the wood beneath. We assess its depth and the floor's existing finish before selecting a method to reduce its appearance. Deeper scratches may need filling and colour matching.

Hole Repairs

Small holes left by fixings, fittings or other damage can often be filled and blended with the surrounding boards. We select a suitable material, level the repair, then match the colour and grain as closely as possible.

Matching the Existing Floor

Wood varies naturally in colour and grain, and its appearance changes with age and light exposure. We take these differences into account when repairing each area and apply a finish suited to the surrounding floor, whether lacquered or oiled.

Our aim is to make the damage much less noticeable. As with any localised repair, it may still be visible on close inspection.
