About Hampshire Surface Repair

Hampshire Surface Repair was founded by Richard Lee-Costello to help people restore damaged surfaces without automatically replacing them. Although this is a new business, Richard brings more than 12 years of hands-on experience caring for and restoring stone and wood.

Over that time, his work has ranged from floors and worktops in family homes to natural stone restoration aboard major cruise ships. That experience shapes the way we approach every job: assess the material, understand the damage and choose a repair that suits the surface.

We repair chips, scratches, holes and other localised damage to worktops, floors, tiles, natural stone, wood and suitable bathroom surfaces.

Colour, grain, texture and sheen all matter when a repair needs to blend with its surroundings, so we take time with the finishing details.

A repair can make damage far less noticeable, but it may still be visible on close inspection. If a surface is moving, badly damaged or unsuitable for a lasting repair, we will say so and explain the options.

Where appropriate, we can deep clean, hone, polish, sand, oil or seal a surface so the repaired area sits more comfortably within the whole worktop or floor.
