Stainless steel can develop scratches, scuffs and marks through everyday use. We assess the direction and type of finish before recommending a treatment. On suitable surfaces, careful refinishing can reduce the appearance of damage and help the worked area blend with the surrounding metal.

Some deep scratches, dents and factory finishes cannot be reproduced exactly. We will explain the likely result before starting.

Decorative and Unusual Items

We are also happy to look at individual items such as chessboards, tabletops, display pieces and decorative surfaces. A repair might involve filling a chip, matching a colour or pattern, or improving a worn finish. The method depends on what the item is made from and how it is used.

Items with several materials or intricate details are assessed individually. Our aim is to improve the damage while retaining as much of the original appearance as possible.
