Our Repair Services
Chip and Edge Repairs
Chips often occur on exposed corners, tile edges and thresholds. We clean and prepare the damaged area before rebuilding it with a repair material suited to the surface. The repair is shaped and finished to blend as closely as possible with the surrounding tile or stone.
Crack Repairs
We assess cracks before repairing them, as the cause matters. A stable crack may be filled and colour matched to make it less noticeable. If a tile or stone continues to move, a cosmetic repair may fail, and we will explain this before proceeding.
Holes and Surface Defects
Natural stone can develop holes or lose small areas of its surface over time. This is particularly common with travertine. We fill suitable holes and defects, then level and finish them to complement the surrounding stone.
Matching the Finish
A successful repair involves more than matching the colour. We also consider the surface texture and sheen. Depending on the material, the repaired area may be honed, polished or finished to sit more comfortably alongside the existing surface.
Natural stone has variations in colour, veins and pattern. Repairs can significantly improve the appearance of damage but may remain visible on close inspection.
